CocoSmile is the trade name of Công ty TNHH Dừa Cười, a Bến Tre company (in Vĩnh Long province after the July 2025 merger) that selects, trims and packs fresh young xiêm coconut for domestic sale and export. Its signature product fits an easy-open ring-pull cap to a laser-trimmed green coconut and etches a small smile symbol on each fruit. The company was set up in November 2017 and holds a business registration dated 18 June 2018.
CocoSmile was founded by Phạm Thị Vân, a former international tour guide from northern Vietnam who moved to Bến Tre to build the business; the Vietnamese name Dừa Cười means “smiling coconut”. The company reports that it acquired an existing export coconut facility that already carried Bio Organic, USDA Organic and food-safety certification.

The green xiêm coconut is selected above the common export standard, at Brix ≥ 7.5 (Brix measures dissolved sugar; the common export threshold is 7.0). Raw material comes from 11 communes across Giồng Trôm, Châu Thành and Mỏ Cày Nam, described as specialised orchards with salt-intrusion dykes.

Sourcing and production
CocoSmile is headquartered in the former Bến Tre and describes a trim-at-orchard process: coconuts are peeled in the field (husks left with growers for fuel or compost), then transported, prepared, capped and laser-etched before dispatch. Reported capacity is about 250,000 coconuts per month, of which about 50,000 are exported (2019 figures). The company reports paying growers above the prevailing farm-gate price for coconut meeting its standard. These are self-reported figures; see limitations.

Domestically, CocoSmile reports distribution through clean-food chains (Sói Biển, H Mart) and to resorts, hotels, conferences and cafés across Hà Nội, Quảng Ninh, Nghệ An, Đà Nẵng, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City. On exports it reports presence in 10+ countries — Korea, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, the United States, Australia, the UAE and European markets — with export prices of 35,000–40,000 VND per coconut against a typical 8,000–10,000 VND farm-gate price in Bến Tre.
