The company cites an FAO 2013 statement describing coconut flower sugar as among the most sustainable sweeteners, on three grounds: higher and more continuous farmer income than selling whole coconuts; suitability for saline-intrusion conditions in the Mekong Delta; and nutritional profile with a lower glycemic index than cane sugar. It also cites that on the same land area a coconut palm can yield 50–70% more sugar than sugarcane. These are cited third-party claims, not our own measurements.
